Last month a team of 42 swimmers from Dumfries Amateur Swimming Club attended Sheffield’s Teaspoon Meet which was held at Ponds Forge Sports facility.
The meet is a favourite within the club and was the first time for some swimmers to compete in a 50m pool. Each swimmer races one length of each stroke. Sprinting at its finest!
Teaspoons is a highlight of the season for most as it is fun, fast and a great team building experience for all ages of competitor. We were 1 out of only 2 clubs representing Scotland at this event and certainly made our presence known! #loudandproud

Thanks also goes to Coach Phil Stewart, his assistants Lauren Rice and Alexa Solley, Team managers Marc and Angela Scott and club president Hazel Hastings. As always thanks to all those parent supporters who made the journey to support our swimmers.
