East Kilbride Age Group Meet 2017

10 Dumfries ASC swimmers attended the East Kilbride Age Group Long Course Meet over the

weekend of the 2nd-4th June.

A successful meet once again for the club returning with numerous pb's and a total of

nine medals between the small but mighty group!

Medals brought home for Tyler Barnard, Ruben Kelly & Alex Scott. Coach Phil Stewart said 'This was all the more impressive as this was a very young & inexperienced team, many of whom were competing in a 50 metre pool for the first time & against high quality opposition. Dumfries ASC swimmers continue to prove themselves week in, week out at these meets & is undoubtedly due to their own efforts at training. They should be very proud of themselves and their achievements.'

Thanks goes to Team Managers Dawn Barnard , Marc Scott and coach Phil Stewart for supporting the swimmers throughout the weekend of events. Training tapers off into the close of season at the end of the month .
