FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY TO RAISE MONEY THROUGH TESCO BAGS OF HELP

Our application to the Tesco Bags of Help Grant Scheme has been successful and our project will be put forward to a customer vote in Tesco stores during September and October 2017.

Help from all our swimmers, parents, friends and family will help raise money to help support our new projects in Water Polo and Open Water Swimming. Please support Dumfries ASC in Tesco by using your votes. The more votes we have increases our chance of receiving the highest possible amount available.

Our project along with the other two successful projects in your region will go forward to a vote in Tesco stores where their customers will decide the outcome by voting for their favourite project each time they shop. Voting will take place from Friday 1st September to Tuesday 31st October and we will be notified by the end of November 2017 confirming the amount of funding we will receive. The project with the highest number of votes across our region will receive up to £4,000, the second placed project up to £2,000 and the third placed project £1,000. If we are first in the vote, we will receive the amount that we requested in our application.

A VERY SUCCESSFUL HOME MEET ~ APRIL 2017

Thanks to Kathleen Procter our Meet Director for a very successful home meet in April. A huge round of applause to our army of volunteers who gave up their time to help. Without your help we would not be able to run our meet.

The Spring Graded Meet has been one of our most successful yet, leaving the club with a profit in excess of £6000. Thank you to all who attended.

The money raise will go towards payment for our new Regional Assistant Coach when appointed.
